AT-102 SCM connected directly to a PC network port (not to a router)

The network card on the PC needs to be set to a fixed IP address, so it cannot be used for purposes other than communication with the AT-102. 

If the client is already using the wired network port on their computer, they can purchase a USB-ethernet adapter to use as a second network port. 

Configure the Network card -> Right click on the ethernet adapter -> Properties




Select Internet Protocol Version 4 -> Properties



Configure the IPV4 properties:
  1. IP address: 10.0.0.1 
  2. Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
  3. Default gateway: 10.0.0.5





















Configure Communication settings on the AT-102:
  1. IP address: 10.0.0.5 (the default gateway set on the network card) 
  2. Net mask: 255.255.255.0
  3. Gateway: 10.0.0.1 (the IP address configured for the ethernet adapter)
  4. Server: 10.0.0.1:8080 (same as gateway but includes the ":8080")
