Connect Darwin2 to Schiller Server

This is the link to the medilog webpage with instructions on how to configure the connectivity between Darwin and Schiller Server: 

Configure Darwin
  • Open the Admin tool, switch to the "setup" tab and click on "extended settings"
  • Find the "SCHILLER Server integration" section
  • Enter the  Schiller Server address (e.g. http://www.myserver.com:8080)
  • If you entered non-default values for Username/Password/DeviceId then enter them here
  • Close the Admin-tool
  • Run Darwin
  • You can configure a recorder by double-clicking on one of the entries.
  • When you release a recording, a PDF is sent to Schiller Server. If SemaLibertyMobile is installed you can verify the PDF on http://www.myserver.com:8080/SemaLibertyMobile/

Example of how to configure the Darwin AdminTool settings:
  • Password = "DarwinPass" (e.g.)


To test PDF reports are being sent to Schiller Server without a worklist, go to the "HIS connection" section and set "Asymmetric responses" to "true"








This will enable the "-> HIS" checkbox for releasing recordings. 




Configure Schiller Server

A new Darwin user has to be created in Schiller Server, such as the "DarwinUsr" shown in the example below.

  • Click on Usermanagement / Users
  • Click "New"
  • Username = "DarwinUsr" (e.g.)
  • Userinfo = "Darwin" (e.g.)
  • Password = "DarwinPass" (e.g.)
  • (you can use different values for the fields above, these are the default values which are preconfigured in Darwin)
  • Master Role = Administrator
  • Master Department = Default
  • Press "Apply"
  • Click Devices/Device List
  • Click "New"
  • Enter e.g. "Dev_Darwin" (you can also specify multiple device IDs each associated with a different user. Here's an example of how to set up such a configuration: "Dev101:UserA,Dev102:UserB")
  • Click "Apply"
